Islington has a new Green Plaque Scheme.
The new plaques will appear on buildings across the borough to highlight the hidden history and achievements of Islington’s diverse community.
Islington Council invites us to nominate a favourite person, place or event to be celebrated with a plaque. The person/place/event must have a meaningful connection with the London Borough of Islington and an important local or national significance.
