Film night is on on Tuesday 3 November at 7.30pm (bar open for pre event drinks at 7pm) upstairs in The Hanbury Arms 33 Linton Street, Arlington Square, London N1 7DU. Rob Smith will be the host, showing film extracts from films of varying ages set in Islington and especially The Angel. He will talk about the films and there will be (more) drinks and pizza.
The Hanbury Arms makes their own stone baked pizzas from home made dough (including gluten free bases) and they are delicious. They also serve interesting craft beers. Tickets will cost around £15/£20,( to include drinks allowance, pizzas etc), but the final costings haven’t been worked out. Further information closer to the date. The Hanbury have been very kind and are keeping the costs down as they know we are a local community group. Rob, as always, charges us about half the going rate as he is a Friend of the Angel Association.
This is months ahead – but if this appeals and you know you would like to come – let me know. It is always useful to have an early idea of numbers.
