Rob Smith from Footprints of London (who has led a number of well received walks for us) is leading the walk on Tuesday 18 August which is called ” Six Islington Squares”. The walk looks at how Barnsbury was the home to a great British invention – suburbia. We will look at six very different squares, each with their own individual style, and talk about some of the people who lived in them. Rob’s walks tend to last about an hour and a half. No doubt we will go to a pub after the walk too.
Meet at 6.30pm outside Highbury and Islington Station.
The price per person is £6. As always – please try and bring the exact money on the night.
Let the secretary know if you would like to book in.
